Privacy policy

iCloset is a closet app. To work, it needs photos of your clothes and of you. This page explains what we keep, why, who else touches it, and how to delete it.

What we collect

How we use it

Only to run iCloset for you: storing your closet, making studio photos and try-ons, suggesting outfits, showing your stats, sending the sign-in codes you ask for, and the reminders you turn on. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.

AI processing

To make studio photos and try-ons, tag your pieces and rank outfit suggestions, we send the relevant photos and closet details to OpenAI through its API. OpenAI processes them to return a result. Under its API terms OpenAI doesn't use this data to train its models, and may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor for abuse. Try-on prompts crop the head off, so no face is generated.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Cloudflare (database, photo storage and email). Subscriptions are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. These providers process data for us under their own security and privacy commitments.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account in the app (settings, then delete account) and we immediately delete your photos and closet data from our storage. You can also export your closet from settings first.

Children

iCloset isn't meant for children under 13. Reference photos must be of you.
